An imaginative, fun, and practical activity-book companion to the classic Taming Worry Dragons manual. Written & illustrated for a youthful reader, it contains activities for children to learn all about worries - their "Worry Dragons" - and how to "tame" and "trap" them. Practice exercises are called "Detective Work" and are designed to help kids keep track of their successes. Children can record strategies (considered tools) and build a tool box to keep them in so they have reminders of ways to conquer their anxieties. Topics such as sleep, laughter, exercise, procrastination, friendship, relaxation and accepting praise, are covered in fun, active ways.
This spiral bound edition also includes information for their coaches (parents, therapists, doctors), however it is strongly recommended by the author that the adults should also be reading the more detailed, Taming Worry Dragons edition.
