Its dense wool fibres assist in the distribution of weight and alleviate pressure points, helping protect fragile skin from bedsores and friction burns. A good quality wool bed pad not only cushions & provides comfort, it has the natural ability to absorb moisture (up to 33% of its own weight), so you can enjoy its benefits through all seasons. The springy natural fibres also allow air to circulate through them and around the skin, helping to keep it healthy. Genuine sheepskin is more durable than man-made materials, and because it's machine washable (to 40C), this natural shaped pad will withstand many launderings.
