Community

Living Room Pharmacy is a proud supporter of many community organizations in the Comox Valley. Here are some of them:

Care-A-Van: The Care-A-Van is a mobile doctor's office for the homeless citizens of the Comox Valley. It is the first mobile health unit in North America that has physicians on board. Living Room Pharmacy is proud to have been a supporter of this ground-breaking organization from its very beginning in 2009. Living Room Pharmacy supplies all required pharmaceutical products and prescriptions, free of charge, to this worthwhile service and its clients. www.comoxbaycare.org

Comox Valley School District: Living Room Pharmacy regularly donates goods to support extra-curricular activities that help kids get more out of their public education experience. In May 2011, Living Room Pharmacy was also very pleased to be of financial help to School District 71's youngest team to compete internationally in the global finals of Destination Imagination, in Knoxville Tennessee.

Comox Valley Community Organizations: Living Room Pharmacy regularly supports local athletic activities and charity groups, by donating goods or funds. Recent recipients are: Rotary, CV Hospital Foundation, and CV United Soccer Legacy Fund.

Ducks Unlimited Comox Valley Chapter: A healthy ecosystem is important to our healthcare! Living Room Pharmacy is an annual contributor to the D.U. Fundraising Auction.

Lose The Training Wheels: This is a break-through program dedicated to teaching kids with disabilities to reach a most important childhood rite of passage ... learning to ride a bicycle, without training wheels! Living Room Pharmacy is proud to be a founding donor that helped finance establishing this program for the first time in Canada. www.icanshine.org
